Description
Great ornamental cool season grass that grows in compact clumps up to 3 or 4 feet tall. Is an extremely tough plant that holds up well in drought situations and in poor soils. Aside from its beauty it is also an excellent for establishing vegetation to control erosion. Common through the western Edwards Plateau and west to New Mexico and Arizona. Fantastic accent plant for any garden.
Feathergrass (above) is a beautiful bunch grass that we have yet to take a clear photo of. Squirt the puppy seemed to think it was an interesting plant.
