Description
This is a very attractive vine, which we found fully covering a chain link fence. The berries were bright red when we saw it in July, and the leaves have a very pretty shape. The berries have been said to be edible, but we didn't try it. It's rather frequent in rich woods and thickets in the eastern half of Texas. However, we took the photo (top left) in San Angelo, so it doesn't seem to be particular about where it grows.
