After planting this bank, I only had a partial role of erosion control blanket left from a spillway project, so I used it to cover what I could. The proof is in the pictures. After replanting the bare areas I ordered more erosion control blanket and I will send you some update pictures in a few weeks. The blankets make all the difference in the world for a successful planting. - Eileen Porter, Parker County Texas (above)
This photodegradable straw-fiber blanket is perfect for holding down native seed on slopes, channels and other hightly erodible areas. The single-net construction is designed to provide erosion control and mulching on moderate slopes for up to 12 months. The photodegradable thread and netting will breakdown in sunlight, leaving you with established native wildflowers and grasses. Please follow instructions included and use recommended staples.
We highly recommend installing each blanket with a bag of staples available here. Staples ensure blanket stays put. It is important to securely fasten blanket against ground to prevent water from eroding soil under blanket.
Please watch our 2 minute instructional video (above) for tips on installation.
