Shiny Goldenrod
Solidago nitida

A good pollinator native full of nectar and very, very attractive to butterflies and native bees. "Monarch Butterflies, Queens, Giant Swallowtails, Pipevine Swallowtails, Variegated Fritillaries, and more were all seen and photographed on the Goldenrod, along with American Bumblebees and Southern Plains Bumblebees" - Carol. Evergreen perennial with smooth foliage which seems to increase rapidly under correct conditions. Found in Oklahoma, east Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Rarely available commercially. One of our conservancy species sustainably hand collected with the hopes of encouraging others to help preserve, protect and propagat unique native species.
