Description
Very easy to grow. Often found along drainages or bottomland farm fields when left fallow after cultivation. Flower petals can be solid yellow or yellow with a little reddish brown near the 'cone' portion. Range is Georgia to Texas.
Clasping Coneflower is named for the way the base of the leaves clasp themselves around the stem of the plant (above)
