Description
This plant looks very grasslike, it is not actually a grass, it is a perennial in the Lily family. When there is adequate rainfall, the plant blooms in the spring and can have many clustered flowers. The flowers and seeds of sacahuista are poisonous to livestock. It is appreciated for its wiry, grass-like, evergreen foliage. – photo by Paul Cox, wildflower.org
