Before you discount this lovely perennial because of the pollen, be aware this is not a problem for hay fever sufferers. Goldenrod is insect pollinated, and the pollen does not blow through the air. It sometimes shows up in floral arrangements, because of its beautiful color.

You'll receive roots that will make 15 or more plants. The roots, also called rhizomes, are undergound stems capable of producing new stems or plants at their nodes. Plant roots as soon as you receive them. Then give a good deep watering for easy establishment.
