Plateau Agalinis is a bushy plant that is 1 to 3 feet tall, and grows in dry caliche soils on the Edwards Plateau. It's very similar to the heterophylla species, which grows on the prairie. The main difference is that Plateau Agalinis makes a bit larger, airier plant. The stems on it sometimes take on a purplish color when it blooms. Don't be surprised if it loses most of its leaves at bloom time.
