Description
Also commonly known as Tickseed, this perennial is a favored bedding plant because it is evergreen and easy to establish. It
blooms from May to July and stands about two to three feet tall, growing in
small clumps but capable of forming extensive colonies where the soil is sandier and there
is more rainfall. You can sow the seed in spring or fall, in most of the central, midwestern and southeastern US and northern New Mexico.
